Former Gopher Brock Lesnar Returning To UFC

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Former University of Minnesota wrestler Brock Lesnar announced Monday he is returning to the UFC octagon.

Lesnar will make his return at the UFC 200 in July in Las Vegas, fighting former professional kick boxer Mark Hunt. It will be Lesnar's first UFC fight in nearly five years.

He had announced his retirement from UFC in March of 2015. Lesnar, 38, was a star wrestler and NCAA champion with the Gophers. He tried to play professional football with the Vikings but was released before heading to pro wrestling and eventually UFC.
