Henry Sibley Baseball Player Knocks Foul Ball Into Crotch, Has Priceless Reaction

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An unfortunate at-bat for a Minnesota high school baseball player resulted in a hilarious – but painful – display of emotions early this week.

On Monday, Henry Sibley faced South St. Paul in a Class 3A, Section 3 championship game.

That's where Henry Sibley junior Dan O'Reilly got up to the plate and fouled a ball right into his crotch. And what he did immediately after is what's getting all the attention.

In the video, O'Reilly immediately grabs the injured area of his body, squats, walks around grimacing, throws his helmet into the field, and then submits to the pain and takes it to the ground. But he immediately gets up again, has a sort of painful meeting with the umpires and then "dabs" in a possible effort to assure the crowd that he's OK.

According to the Pioneer Press, he also wasn't wearing a cup. Ouch. But he's fine!
