Air Pollution Advisory Issued For Eastern, Southern Minn.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has issued an air pollution health advisory for eastern and southern Minnesota.

The advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. Temperatures in the 90s, combined with clear skies and light winds will lead to the formation of ground level ozone.

The MPCA says air quality conditions will be unhealthy for sensitive groups. Ozone concentrations will rise throughout the day and begin to decline after sunset Saturday.
