State Patrol: Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt In Lakeville Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 26-year-old Buffalo man was seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash in Lakeville Tuesday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Authorities responded to the accident at about 3:18 p.m. to the on ramp from 210th St. to northbound Interstate 35. When officers arrived, a motorcycle had been traveling westbound on County Road 70 and heading towards I-35 when the driver lost control, hit gravel and was thrown from the vehicle.

The motorcyclist hit the guardrail, which punctured his helmet and caused serious injuries. The driver, identified as Bryce A. Davis, was airlifted to a hospital.

What led up to the driver losing control is under investigation.
