Former Miss North Dakota Found Dead In North Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A woman was found dead in north Minneapolis Tuesday morning, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner.
Samantha Mary Edwards, 37, was found dead on the 1700 block of Upton Avenue. She died just after 7:30 a.m., the medical examiner said.
Edwards was Miss North Dakota USA in 2003.
Police say there were no obvious signs of trauma. The cause and manner of death are still being investigated.
