State Patrol Dashcam Shows Near Head-On Collision
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Minnesota State Patrol car caught a very close call on its dashboard camera.
On June 6, a state trooper was pulled over on Highway 59 in Detroit Lakes when a head-on collision nearly occurred.
An elderly male driver had just turned on to the two-lane road and was driving in the wrong lane, right into oncoming traffic.
The trooper jumped into action and pulled the man over. The man said he thought the other vehicle was to blame. The driver was cited for failure to keep right/over the center line.
