Man Found Dead Inside N. Mpls Home With Gunshot Wounds

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Minneapolis are investigating after a man was found dead inside a home with gunshot wounds Thursday evening.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, around 11:15 p.m. officers responded to a call of muffled gunshots on the 3500 block of Knox Avenue North.

Upon arrival, police found a person waiting outside, attempting to flag them down. The person told police to check on someone inside the home.

Once inside, police found a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.

Investigators spoke with several people in the area, but did not make any arrests. They will continue to investigate in the following days.
