St. Paul Officer Injured In Squad Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A portion of a major St. Paul street was shut down Tuesday night after a crash involving a police squad car.
Police say a driver ran a red light and crashed into an officer's car near the intersection of University and Hamline avenues.
The crash caused a fire in the squad car, which was put out by firefighters.
A police spokesperson says the officer was not seriously injured, but did not say if the other driver was hurt.
