Police Seek Help Finding Suspect In South St. Paul Shooting

SOUTH ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police in South St. Paul are looking for a suspect in a Wednesday afternoon shooting.

Investigators say it happened at around 3:47 p.m. on the 200 block of Grand Avenue West. Responding officers found an adult male who was shot at the scene. He was stabilized by responding medical personnel and transported to a local hospital.

Police say witnesses at the scene reported two male suspects who fled before police arrived. One is believed to have stopped in a local business, and was captured on security camera footage with a female accomplice.

Police released a photo of the suspect Wednesday evening and are calling for anyone with information to call the South St. Paul Police Department at 651-554-3300.
