Sheriff: Motorcyclist Killed In Isanti County Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a vehicle Thursday morning north of the Twin Cities metro, according to the Isanti County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities responded to the crash at about 10:26 a.m. on Highway 47 at County Road 8. When officers arrived, there was a collision between a motorcycle and a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria. The operator of the motorcycle, a 70-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two people, a 20-year-old woman and 14-year-old male, were in the Ford Crown Victoria. There has been no information on if they had any injuries.
What led up to the crash is under investigation.
