4 Things To Do On The Fourth Of July!

MINNNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Let's take a look at four places you can celebrate Fourth of July on Monday!

1. It's Red White and Boom! Minneapolis' annual Fourth of July celebration attracts more than 75,000 people to the downtown riverfront every year. There will be live music, great food and fun activities. And of course -- it's all capped off by the fireworks grand finale, choreographed to a mix of Prince songs at 10 p.m. The fun starts with the T.C. Half Marathon, relay and 5K on Monday morning.

2. Let's go east to St. Paul. "4th In The Park" features one of the longest-running parades in Minnesota -- with bands, classic cars and more being a part of it. The parade ends in Langford Park, where there is an afternoon of music, games and tournaments. Then Monday night, head to CHS Field for the Saints game and fireworks which begin at around 9:30 p.m.

3. It's 4th of July around the lake. Head out to Lake Minnetonka Monday for a sand sculpting contest, parade, live music and more. WCCO's Kate Raddatz will also be singing the national anthem before the fireworks at dusk. The celebration starts at 7:30 a.m. with firecracker runs. Everything is at Commons Park.

4. Delano is celebrating the Fourth of July for the 159th year. Events Saturday and Sunday include a carnival, American Legion baseball tournament, bingo and live performances. Then on Monday, it's Minnesota's oldest and largest Fourth of July parade at 10:30 a.m., and the nearly half-hour fireworks show at 10:30 p.m.
