Shoplifter Escapes, Shirtless, From Worker's Grasp

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is asking for the public's help to catch a brazen shoplifter.

Investigators say a white man in his late 20s stole multiple items from St. Anthony Village Wine and Spirits last Thursday morning.

An employee tried to detain him before he exited the store, but he wrestled himself away and fled the business – literally losing his shirt in the process.

The suspect is described as standing 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black sweat pants with a green stripe down the legs, which were tucked into his white socks. And he was wearing black shoes with white soles.
