General Mills Expands Recall Of Cake Mixes

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- General Mills wants you to check your cupboards -- it's expanding its recall of cake mixes.

The recall was first announced in May over concerns the flour in some General Mills products could be linked to an E coli outbreak.

So far at least 40 people from 21 states have gotten sick. On Wednesday, General Mills included its Rainbow Chip and Carrot Cake Betty Crocker cakes to the recall.
