Woman Sexually Assaulted At Knifepoint In Mankato Park
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A report of a sexual assault in a park near Mankato has Blue Earth County deputies investigating.
According to the Blue Earth County Sheriff's Department, it happened on July 6 at around 5:35 p.m. in Wildwood County Park, off of County Road 28. An woman told deputies she was walking along a trail when a man approached her from behind. She said she thought he had a knife, and that he sexually assaulted her.
The victim described the suspect as a white man, around 40 years old.
The Blue Earth County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
