New Zealand Man Quits Job To Play Pokemon Go Full-Time
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The mobile game Pokemon Go has been making headlines for more than a week now. But for one man, it's more than a game.
The Guardian reports 24-year-old Tom Currie from New Zealand has quit his job to become a full-time Pokemon hunter.
He'll embark on a two-month journey of the country with the hope of capturing all the characters in the game.
Currie says he wanted an adventure and needed a break from work.
His mother says she's glad he's enjoying his life and seeing so much of New Zealand, backing him 100 percent.
