Medical Examiner Identifies Lakeville Man Killed By Falling Tree
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities have identified a man who was killed after a tree he was cutting in his yard fell on him.
According to Lakeville police, the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. on July 31 at the victim's resident, which is located in Jamaica Circle in Lakeville.
Life-saving measures were attempted after the man was struck, but he was soon pronounced dead at the scene.
On Tuesday, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Joseph James Frazee and that he died of multiple blunt force injuries.
Lakeville police and the medical examiner are investigating.
