Sheriff Seeks Help To Find Missing Osakis Man

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Todd County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a 47-year-old man who hasn't been seen in more than a week.

Authorities say Alan Michael Thomas of Osakis left is residence on Aug. 4 and traveled to Blaine to visit friends. He had planned to return home that day, but his family and friends have not heard from him since.

Thomas has medical issues that require daily medication, and his family says it's unusual for him not to be in contact. His family and authorities are concerned for his well-being.

Thomas is described as about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing about 185 pounds. He's bald and has green eyes. Thomas is driving a 2008 charcoal gray Scion TC with a spoiler on the back and Minnesota license plate 039-NEH. He has a tattoo of "Thomas" across his shoulder blades and a Japanese tattoo on his shoulder. He also has circular scars on his head from previous surgeries.

Anyone who sees him or may have information on is whereabouts should call the Todd County Sheriff's Office at (320) 732-2157.
