Male Found Dead In Mahnomen County Home

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in northwestern Minnesota are investigating after a male was found dead Friday morning.

The Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a male with a leg wound in a residence south of Mahnomen just before 5:30 a.m. Friday. When they arrived, authorities found a deceased male, the sheriff's office said.

The sheriff's office suspects foul play. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office and White Earth Police Department are investigating the case.

The name of the victim has not been released.
