2 Dead After South Dakota Rollover Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two people are dead, including a man from Minneapolis, after a single-vehicle rollover crash in South Dakota Thursday.

The South Dakota Department of Public Safety said 22-year-old Taylor Tolle lost control of his convertible 1990 Volkswagen Cabriolet on westbound Interstate 90 near White Lake, South Dakota, around 3 p.m. Thursday.

The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled. Authorities pronounced a female passenger, 20-year-old Anjuli Kerlin of Sturgis, South Dakota, dead at the scene. Tolle died Friday at a Sioux Falls hospital, DPS said.

South Dakota's Highway Patrol is investigating. Tolle and Kerlin were both wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
