2 ID'd In Hastings Apparent Murder-Suicide
HASTINGS, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have released the names of a Hastings man and woman who died in what investigators care calling an apparent murder-suicide.
The Hennepin County medical examiner identified them Wednesday as 34-year-old Justin DJ Anderson and 29-year-old Danielle Aimee Denney.
The medical examiner's office says each died of a gunshot wound to the head, but it's not saying who shot whom. It says the manner of death for each is pending further investigation by the medical examiner and the Hastings Police Department.
Police say they were boyfriend and girlfriend and both lived at the home where their bodies were found by a relative Monday.
Investigators scoured the property for evidence on Tuesday. One detective searched the roof while another looked through long grass in the backyard.
