Report: Someone Tried To Get Through MSP Security With Loaded Gun

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It appears more and more people are forgetting to properly pack certain items when they fly.

The TSA says last week it confiscated a record 78 guns at security airport checkpoints, including a 9 mm at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Some 68 of the the guns, including the one found in Minnesota, were loaded.

Security agents also found four replica grenades, a cane sword, and several knives. One was even hidden in a pill bottle.

Ammunition and knives are prohibited in carry-on luggage, but can be packed in checked baggage.
