MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — St. Cloud native Alise Post recorded a time of 35.509 seconds during the BMX time trials at the Rio Olympic games.

The 25-year-old competed in 2012 in London, finishing 12th after crashing during the semifinals. On Wednesday, the St. Cloud Tech graduate — who started racing at the age of 6 — finished 8th in the seeding run.

She’ll compete in the first heat of Friday’s semifinals. The top eight racers in that run compete in the finals.
