Man Arrested In Connection To Wisconsin Church Burglaries

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials in western Wisconsin say they've made an arrest in connection to a string of church burglaries.

The St. Croix County Sheriff's Office says charges are expected Monday against the suspect, who has yet to be named.

Officials say the man was arrested after investigators received tips from the public after surveillance images were shared last week on social media.

The man is suspected of burglarizing five churches in the county earlier this month.

The churches hit were in Prairieview, New Richmond and Hudson.
