Nurses, Allina Health To Resume Contract Negotiations
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Nurses Association and Allina Health are expected to continue negotiation talks Tuesday.
The negotiations come after the nurses rejected another contract offer last week.
The nurses voted to authorize an indefinite strike if they don't get what they want, which is to keep their current union health care plans. Allina, however, wants them to change to the same plan as other workers.
The nurses work at five Twin Cities-area facilities operated by Allina. They went on strike for one week earlier this summer.
