4 Things To Do At The Fair From Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota State Fair got off to a rainy start Saturday, but it may turn out to be the more comfortable ones weather-wise. Here are four ways to get the most from your ticket!

1. It is 4-H Day at the fair. Do not miss dozens of chances to get an up-close look at some of your favorite animals.

2. The Dixie Chicks are in town! The 13-time Grammy Award winners will perform at the Grandstand Saturday night at 7 p.m. -- and they'll also play Sunday!

3. You don't have to sound as good as the Dixie Chicks to join in at The Giant Sing Along! It's open to anyone and everyone who feels like singing. Head to the field of microphones across from the Pet Center to check it out.

4. Visit Minnesota Wine Country at the fair for a taste of wine made all over the state. You can find them on Underwood Street across from the Ag-Hort Building.
