Man Charged In Anoka Burglary Turns Himself In; 2 Still At Large
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One of the three men charged in a burglary of an Anoka home turned himself in last week, according to police.
Police say on Aug. 7 three men were captured on a home security camera in an Anoka apartment while the couple who lived there was out of town. The men stole a flat-screen TV, an iPad Mini, some jewelry and credit cards.
Following the release of the footage, Diamond James, 19, Marsalis Peterson, 19, and 20-year-old Willie Washington were each charged with two counts of second-degree burglary.
Anoka Police Captain Eric Peterson says Washington turned himself in last week to the police department and is now in custody at the Anoka County Jail.
Peterson says police are still actively searching for the other two men.
