Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Hwy. 59 In Becker Co.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – State Troopers are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed north of Detroit Lakes Thursday night.
According to Minnesota State Patrol, around 9:30 p.m. 38-year-old Andrew J. Eidenschink, of Detroit Lakes, was driving northbound on Highway 59 when he struck 39-year-old Crystal Tucker from Mahnomen.
She was walking northbound along the shoulder of Highway 59. No alcohol was detected in the Tucker's system.
The accident is currently under investigation.
