Police: Man Stabbed Multiple Times In Hopkins; 1 Arrest

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 27-year-old man is in jail after a stabbing incident in Hopkins early Friday morning.

According to the Hopkins Police Department, officers responded at 4:30 a.m. to the report of a fight involving multiple people on the 900 block 7th Street South.

When officers arrived, a 33-year-old man was found suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center where his current condition is unknown at this time.

There, the 27-year-old suspect was arrested and taken to the Hennepin County Jail where charges are pending.

Police say the incident was not a random assault and there is no threat to public.
