Police: Multiple People Arrested In Disturbance At MOA

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Police arrested multiple people during a disturbance at the Mall of America Monday afternoon.

Bloomington police said no more than 10 people were arrested in the south food court after MOA tenants called police about a disturbance. Police did not have exact arrest numbers because MOA officials made arrests as well.

Police said no one was injured and no property was damaged.

Must of been those crazy white kids from the suburbs. Oh wait, they’re in school. mmmmmm

Must have been white, or they wouldn’t have been arrested. MOA has a do-nothing policy on things like that.

I was there and it was a very uncomfortable environment. Minnesota has lost its mall im afraid. Not good. Its getting out of control. But if police step in there showing an unfair bias. the system is broken an something has to be done for those of us who used to not be afraid to go to the mall.

    1. When the MOA 1st opened it was instantly a magnet for gangs. I recall that a young girl who worked as a guide at Camp Snoopy was hit in the buttocks by a stray bullet during a gunfight. Imagine that! A friggin’ gunfight at a children’s amusement park in a multi-million dollar mall. It took some time before the mall owners, the city of Bloomington and the police department finally realized the fact that if they didn’t get a handle on this growing problem it was going to greatly impact their sales.

Easy fix. Require all kids to have both parents accompany them to the MOA….
