BCA Helps In Search For Missing Faribault Teen

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 17-year-old boy is missing, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is asking for the public to help find him.

Pedro Jeremias Chel Cobo, who is from Guatemala, was last seen by his family on Sunday in Faribault. They reported him missing Wednesday, and say he ran away from home.

Cobo's family says he has not been to school since he went missing. His family says he does not drive nor does he have access to a car. He also does not have a cellphone.

Cobo is described having brown hair and eyes, stands about 5-feet-3-inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a LSW white polo shirt, blue jeans and gray tennis shoes. They say he also is wearing a backpack containing soccer gear.

His family says they do not believe he is in any danger. Anyone with information on Cobo's whereabouts is urged to contact Faribault Police at 507-334-0928, or call 911.
