Sheriff: Pedestrian Critical After Hit By Car In Watertown

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 23-year-old man is in critical condition after being hit by a car Friday night, according to the Carver County Sheriff’s office.

The pedestrian, whose name has not been released, was struck on County Road 20 near Paul Avenue in Watertown just after 9:30 p.m. The victim was eventually taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

The sheriff’s office says the driver, 54-year-old Kerry Kassulker of Delano, was not showing signs of being under the influence at the scene.

They also say the victim was not in the crosswalk when he was hit.

The Minnesota State Patrol is helping Carver County with the investigation.
