Lawmakers Set To Talk With Striking Nurses

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A group of Minnesota lawmakers will join striking nurses to talk about ending Allina Health's standoff over a new three-year contract.

Thousands of Twin Cities nurses have been on strike since September 5.

Their main issues are with Allina's health insurance plan and workplace safety concerns.

The DFL lawmakers are scheduled to meet Monday at noon.
