Medical Examiner Confirms St. Cloud Stabbing Suspect ID

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The medical examiner's office has positively identified the suspect in the St. Cloud mall stabbings as 20-year-old Dahir Ahmed Adan.

Adan's family identified him as the attacker Sunday. St. Cloud police announced Monday night that the medical examiner confirmed Adan is the suspect.

So far authorities have identified 10 victims in the attack, which closed the Crossroads Mall for several hours. The mall reopened Monday.

Adan's family told a community leader Adan was on the way to pick up an iPhone at the mall Saturday.
