Bear Menacing Big Lake Residents
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities are warning residents in the Big Lake area of a bear that has been milling about over the last few days.
According to the Department of Natural Resources and the Big Lake Police Department, people in the area should keep their distance.
Authorities also suggested people remove bird and wildlife feeders from their yards.
Police also asked Big Lake residents to report any sightings, as "the last couple times they have appeared we have been successful in nudging them out of the city."
