Pedestrian, 17, Killed In Minnetonka Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a deadly accident involving a teenager.

Seventeen-year-old Scott Berzins, of Shorewood, was crossing Highway 7 in Minnetonka at about 6:15 a.m. when a vehicle struck and killed him.

The state patrol says Berzins was not in a crosswalk or an intersection when it happened.

A 35-year-old woman from Minneapolis was driving the vehicle that hit him.

    Shoreview or Shorewood? Shoreview is pretty far away and other sources report Shorewood.
