Vikings Place Kalil On Injured List, Likely Out For Season

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer announced Wednesday that offensive tackle Matt Kalil will likely be out for the remainder of the season.

Kalil was placed on the injured/reserved list due to his hip.

Zimmer said Kalil also needs surgery.

This news came the same day that Zimmer announced Peterson would be missing at least three weeks, following knee surgery for a torn meniscus.

“I feel like we got to go back to work and go play Carolina,” Zimmer said a recent press conference. “I think we’ll be fine.”
