MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Fall is officially here – and don't let weekend fun fall by the wayside! Check out some of the things Rachel Slavik and Mike Augustyniak covered on WCCO Saturday Morning:

1. Head to St. Paul for the 2016 World Fare. Dixies on Grand, Saji-Ya and Emmett's Public House are coming together to serve food at the event all day. There will also be sumo wrestling, giant beer pong, karaoke and much more. The World Fare is in the parking lot of 695 Grand Avenue from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. It costs $30.

2. We're staying in St. Paul for the opening of a new restaurant. Herbies on the Park -- inspired by hockey legend Herb Brooks -- features upscale tavern fare and handcrafted cocktails. Check it out on game days as they will have special pre-event menus. There is also weekend brunch as well. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Herbies is located on Washington Street.

3. Around 15,000 people are expected to visit the St. Croix Valley this weekend. The 38th annual Afton Art In The Park event features more than 90 vendors, showcasing fine arts, woodwork, photography and many more different styles of art. There will also be food, live music and crafts as part of the Kids Art Pavilion. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. The event is free.

4. Celebrate Oktoberfest -- Surly style. Saturday is the 9th annual SurlyFest, and this year it is taking over the entire destination brewery in Minneapolis. The 11-hour event features Deutsch-inspired fare, cold pints of Surly and a full day of live music. No tickets required and there is no cover charge. SurlyFest starts at 11 a.m.
