Southern Minnesota City Without Sewer Service After Flooding

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A southern Minnesota city will be without sewer service for at least a week after floodwaters damaged the city's sewer plant.

Via its Facebook page, the city of St. Clair said portable toilets have been set up throughout the town. The city has also asked citizens to limit their water use and avoid flushing toilets or putting water down any drains.

There are also three portable units with running water and electricity in the city. One unit also has a shower.

The city asked for citizens' patience and did not give an exact timetable for repairs.
