MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It is going to be a beautiful fall weekend!
And we have a variety of ways to celebrate fall, beginning with a pumpkin patch!
This weekend Pinehaven Pumpkin Patch in Wyoming is hosting its Harvest Festival.
Along with picking your own pumpkin, hayrides, mazes and a petting farm, this Sunday you can enjoy a magic show.
Voted WCCO Best Pumpkin Patch in Minnesota, Pinehaven is open through the end of October.
It is the final weekend of the 46th annual Minnesota Renaissance Festival!
And it’s wrapping up with an Oktoberfest theme.
Head to Shakopee to enjoy German food, traditional music, keg toss and a stein holding and sauerkraut eating contests.
Oktoberfest at Ren Fest takes place both Saturday and Sunday.
Ryder Cup visitors and fans will be gathering in downtown Excelsior for a good old fashioned block party.
There will be food, a beer tent, live music, and golf activities on Friday and Saturday.
The party is free and open to the public.
It’s a first-of-a-kind event.
Rummage is coming to the Minnesota State Fair grounds.
Friday through Sunday you can find exclusive deals on your favorite Minnesota heritage brands, and take in live music, craft beer, fair-inspired food.
The event will take place at the West End Market.
Passes are $10 in advance.
One more event is for dog lovers, specifically people who love dogs in outfits.
Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue is this Saturday at Mall of America.
Rescue dogs looking for permanent homes will be walking the runway in outfits designed by student designers from the University of Minnesota and St. Kate’s.
The dog fashion shows will take place in the rotunda at 1 and 2:30 p.m.
