Driver Critical After Crash With Semi In Minnetonka
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One person is in critical condition after a crash with a semi-truck Sunday night in Minnetonka, according to police.
Authorities responded to the crash on Highway 7 and Williston Road involving the semi-truck and a vehicle. The State Patrol says a 2007 Toyota Camry was heading eastbound on Highway 7 at Williston Road when the driver made a left turn and was broadsided before she left the intersection.
Authorities say the driver, identified as 47-year-old Jenie A. Odonald of Wayzata, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with serious injuries. Traffic management cameras show the vehicle with significant damage to the front driver's side of the vehicle.
What led up to the crash is under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
