Vikings Announce Dedicated Skyway Route To Stadium For Next 2 Home Games

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Vikings announced Monday that there will be a dedicated skyway route to U.S. Bank Stadium for the next two home games.

The route begins at the A, B and C ramp near the Target Center and heads southeast through the City Center, RBC Plaza, U.S. Bank Plaza, the Haaf Ramp and to the stadium's parking ramp.

The route will remain open for Monday night's game until midnight. It will open at 9 a.m. for the Vikings-Texans game Sunday, Oct. 9.

The route is a collaboration between the Greater Minneapolis Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), the Minneapolis Downtown Council and Meet Minneapolis, the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority (MSFA).

Those partners will evaluate the route over the next two weeks and determine the best solution for Vikings games and other major events that the stadium moving forward.
