4 Things To Do From Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It's a cool fall Saturday, and we're here to warm you up with our picks for big weekend fun!

1. It's Oktoberfest in the Twin Cities! This party features live music and plenty of food and drink. Oktoberfest is Saturday from noon until 11 p.m. in the Progress Center Building at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Tickets are $30.

2. One of the Twin Cities best-kept secrets is turning 40. The Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge is hosting a public celebration featuring family-friendly, hands-on activities. There are hiking trails, a bass pond, raptor center and more. The free party is Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

3. It's Mythbusters at Mall of America. The exhibit features more than 100 original props, as well as tools, blueprints, interactive videos and more -- straight from the Mythbusters themselves. This hands-on experience goes through Jan. 15.

4. Music fans should head on down to Red Wing for the 2nd annual Wingstock celebration. The event is meant to broaden the understanding of opportunities in music and get youth engaged in ways they may not have considered. "American Idol" finalist Reed Grimm and The Lovin' Spoonful's drummer Mike Arturi headline a free show Saturday night. Wingstock starts at noon.
