Police Chase In Hopkins Ends In Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Hopkins say a suspect with outstanding warrants fled officers on Saturday before crashing into another car.

The west metro police department says the chase happened after an officer tried to pull over a car containing a known felon with outstanding warrants.

The suspect fled and rammed a squad car during the pursuit. The chase ended when the suspect crashed into a car.

No one in the hit car was hurt. The suspect was brought to a hospital, police say.

Charges are pending against the suspect, whose name was not released.
