Vikings Invite Stabbing Victim To Attend Practice, Game
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Vikings have reached out to a fan that ended up in the hospital because of a yard display highlighting his favorite team.
Dave Moschel lives in Stoughton, Wisconsin. He suffered seven stab and slash wounds Sunday when he tried to stop a vandal from cutting up an inflatable Viking in his yard.
The Dane County Sheriff's Department said 21-year-old Jacob Justice is accused of attacking Moschel. He has been arrested.
After learning of the attack, the team has invited Mocshel to a practice and to the Nov. 20 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
