From a couple release parties to a music lineup catering toward … gasp! … zombies, here are the four music events to check out this weekend.

FRIDAY: Heiruspecs Digital Release @ Icehouse – Mpls.

After nearly 20 years performing together, St. Paul-based hip hop group Heiruspecs is celebrating the release of its newest digital release, “theskyisfalling”.

The Icehouse will be hosting the official release of the five-song collection.

Ayvah, a local jazz-neo-soul group, will open the show.

SATURDAY: Zombie Pub Crawl – Downtown Mpls.

The zombie horde is slowly coming together for the massive Zombie Pub Crawl this weekend!

The Guinness Book of World Records-certified “World’s Largest Gathering of Zombies” event features a night of pub crawling, dancing, and, of course, a lot of great music.

The music lineup included Rae Sremmurd, Zomboy, Smashmouth, ILoveMakonnen, Ja Rule, Andrew W.K., Antiserum, Finding Novyon and a lot more.

SATURDAY: She Rock She Rock 10th Anniversary @ Amsterdam – St. Paul

She Rock She Rock – a Minneapolis nonprofit dedicated to empowering women, girls and female identified individuals using music – is celebrating 10 years of their Girls Rock n Roll Retreat with a concert Saturday night.

Artists include Bad Bad Hats, Tony Peachka, Cadence & the Wolf and Kill You Twice.

There’ll also be a raffle with great music items and a silent auction.

All ages | Doors at 5 p.m. | $17 advance, $20 at the door

SUNDAY: Los Nativos Release Party @ Bedlam Lowertown – St. Paul

To cap off the weekend, St. Paul-based hip hop group Los Nativos is celebrating the release of its sophomore album – “The Eagle & The Jaguar – at the Bedlam Sunday!

In addition to music, there will also be clothing launch from Electric Machete Studios.
