4 Things To Do From Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here are our top picks for great events on this lovely autumn day!

1. Pumpkin Nights are back at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. It features a half-mile long walking path of more than 3,000 pumpkins in larger-than-life displays. There's also a pet costume contest! Pumpkin Nights is open through Halloween. Tickets at the door are $23. Kids age 4 to 12 get in for $18. Hours Saturday night are 6:30 a.m. to midnight.

2. The dead will come alive Saturday night in Minneapolis. It's the 12th annual Zombie Pub Crawl, featuring live entertainment, dozens of participating bars, food trucks and much more. Schell's Brewing will also have a limited edition "Brain Belt" beer. The event starts at 5 p.m. Saturday in the Warehouse District. General admission tickets are $38.

3. It's another day many look forward to every year. Surly nation will descend upon the brewery in Brooklyn Center Saturday to get the first taste of the Russian Imperial Stout, Darkness. There will also be music and food as well. Fifteen hundred wristbands will be handed on a first-come-first-serve basis, allowing you to buy the Darkness beer. The event is from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

4. The Minnesota Wild are hoping to pick up their first win of the new season Saturday night at the X. In Thursday night's season opener, they lost 3 to 2 to the St. Louis Blues. Saturday night is the team's first home game. Tickets are still available and there will be a pre-game party as well starting at 2 p.m. The puck drops at 6 p.m.
