ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) — A nationally-known radio show set in Minnesota is back on the air — now with a new host.
Chris Thile hosted his first episode of “A Prairie Home Companion” from the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul Saturday night. He’s taking over for Garrison Keillor, who reired as host after 42 years with the show.
Each week, Thile will compose and perform a unique new song, feature live performances by musical guests along with comedy and spoken word.
Tickets to watch live are on sale now. The next show is on Oct. 22.
