‘Light The Night’ Walk Raises Cancer Awareness

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Cancer survivors, patients and friends and family walked a mile and a half Sunday night to raise money to fight the deadly disease.

The “Light The Night Walk” raises funding for cancer research and treatment options. Some of the new features this year included a food truck row, kids glam station and live music.

Different colored lanterns were lit and carried from the Depot to the Stone Arch Bridge, honoring those who’ve lost their life to cancer as well as cancer survivors and supporters.
