AAP: Limit Kids' Screen Time Based On Age
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – New recommendations from pediatricians suggests parents limit screen time based on your child's age.
For those younger than 18 months, they recommend avoiding screen time all together except for video chatting.
For kids 18- to 24-months, parents should choose age-appropriate content and watch it with them.
Parents should limit screen time of 2- to 5-year-olds to one hour a day, and simply monitor usage for older children to ensure it doesn't get out of control.
