Sheriff: Girl, 16, Killed In Crash In Wisconsin

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 16-year-old girl was killed Friday when she was ejected from her vehicle during a crash in western Wisconsin.

The St. Croix County Sheriff's Office said the girl -- identified as 16-year-old Kyra Faith Hayes of Beldenville, Wisconsin -- was driving northbound on State Highway 35 in Troy, Wisconsin, when her car left the roadway and rolled several times. The 16-year-old was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

She was not wearing a seatbelt, the sheriff's office said. Her identity has not been released.

The crash is still under investigation.
